The five largest US post-market percentage gainers, posted after the extended session closes.
The same shape as the morning Pre-Market Movers post, measured on the other end of the day. A dated header, five ranked lines, each with symbol, post-market percent change, and post-market shares traded.
The largest post-market percentage gainers across the whole US market, listed exchanges included, subject to a minimum amount of extended-hours trading. Rank one carries the single cashtag. The data is TradingView's US market data, read at the time stamped on the post.
Extended-hours books are thinner than the pre-market and much thinner than the regular session. A large percentage on a small share count is a routine outcome of a wide spread, not evidence of a large move. The shares traded column sits on the same line so the two are read together.
The percentage is measured against the regular session close. It is not a forecast of the next open, and the gap between an after-hours print and the following morning's opening auction is frequently large in both directions.
